@ Gopal: If you make you filter to auto-start, and handle in your InstanceSetup call-back the case when you are asked to attach to CSV volume on volume arrival (no-manual attach) then you should be covered. No workloads will be using disk until CSV is up, and your filter will attach to the volume right after CSV mounts, and before first create on the volume succeeds so you should see all IOs. Do not forget to handle FSCTL_SET_ZERO_DATA, FSCTL_FILE_LEVEL_TRIM, FSCTL_OFFLOAD_WRITE and FSCTL_DUPLICATE_EXTENTS_TO_FILE.
